Grand Teton Photography Tours

Spring in Grand Teton

Spring is truly a magical time of the year for wildlife. Grand Teton is world famous for grizzly bears, especially the very successful mothers with cubs! From bear cubs coming out of the den to wolves on the move and nesting owls, this might be my favorite time of the year to find wildlife.

Fall in Grand Teton

Fall in Grand Teton National Park is breathtaking and truly unique. Moose begin to rut and shed their velvet, bears are especially active as they prepare for hibernation, owls tend to be more visible, and colder temperatures spur other animals to come down from higher elevations. World-class moose and elk viewing are high on the list for most photographers at this time of year!

Winter in Grand Teton

Winter in Grand Teton is harsh and unforgiving for wildlife. However, the chance to photograph wildlife in the winter is truly a special one. Otters, wolves, coyotes, foxes, moose… the list goes on! Bull moose in snow with mountain vistas is a must! Wildlife encounters are special in Grand Teton during the long winter season.
